JOBSITE RULES, RESTRICTIONS, PROJECT INFORMATION




​​SAFETY BALANCE OF PRIORITIES



  • We need to all remember that Safety, Productivity and Quality are all important in order for us to complete our work, make the company profitable so that we can continue to be competitive and go home to our friends and family.


  • Each employee should be constantly evaluating what they are doing and balancing those priorities.


  • Remember: 30-30-30/ Every 30 minutes, stop for 30 seconds, look around 30 feet and be AWARE of your surroundings.



Report ANY unsafe conditions to your supervisor. We will adhere to all company & safety policies, also OSHA standard in temporary electric & general safety requirements.


Report ALL injuries to your FOREMAN or project supervisor IMMEDIATELY



Housekeeping/clean-up will be required by ALL employees on a daily basis.



Each employee will have a current pre-task card on their person at all times

while on duty and the corporate challenging policy will be followed.


Call jobsite at 720-584-7633 if sick or late prior to start work time. 


Job Site Orientation is 7:30am on the first day, employees are expected to be there at least 15 minutes early and employees are expected to report to the superintendent.



  • Safety glasses, hard hats, and warning vests are to be worn at all times on the jobsite.


  • 100% natural fiber clothing is recommended, and sleeves must go to at least the elbow. 




ALL ENERGIZED WORK MUST BE DONE BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL AFTER RECEIVING WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:


     Superintendent

     Project Manager

     Department Director

     Director of Education and Loss Prevention



  • Keep personal tools on site or in gang boxes at your own risk.


  • Your personal tools are not covered by E Light's insurance; we recommend you take your personal tools home with you each night.


  • All company supplied tools need to be returned to carrying cases before being placed in the gang box for storage each day.


  • Gang boxes need to be kept closed and unused tools put away.


  • Stretch and Flex shall be conducted before each work shift





SOME INSTALLATION PARTICULARS:

  

All Circuits will require dedicated neutrals. Colored conduit is utilized on this project and the colors are as follows:


Green- Mechanical


Orange- Critical


Silver (no paint)- Regular Power


Blue-Low voltage


Yellow- Life Safety


Red- Fire Alarm


  

Color Codes:

All work will only be done once and must look good.



It is understood that any inappropriate action (i.e., whistling, cat calling, etc.), is grounds for immediate dismissal from the project for its duration.


  • No member of the Contractor or Subcontractor’s personnel are allowed to communicate with any member of any type of media about this project.


  • All requests for response to the media are to be directed to the Contractor’s Project Manager or Superintendent, who will elevate the request to the General Contractor.



If you have any questions, or you are not sure about something, stop and ask.  Mistakes cost money and waste time.

RECORD DOCUMENTS:


  • During construction, the contractor shall maintain at the job site a set of updated construction documents for the singular purpose of recording changes as job progresses.

     

  • All record drawings shall be completed in erasable pencil or in Bluebeam and kept on a Bluebeam studio for the project.  


  • These changes shall be updated weekly.



Revisions to the Contract Documents shall be legible and shall be prepared using the following color scheme:


1. Red shall indicate new items, deviations and routing.


2. Green shall indicate items removed or deleted.  DO NOT USE WHITE-OUT!


3. Blue shall be used for relevant notes and descriptions.



Your foreman will provide you with the following: tools, materials, layout & a safe work environment. If you feel you are missing any of these items, see the foreman personally.
