Why is there no Printed Version of the Safety, Health and Environmental Policy?

We review and revise our Safety, Health, and Environmental Policy regularly based on near miss, incident, and accident investigations. We look at each of these things and try to find ways to avoid them in the future and also see if we can address trends. Our goal is to make our work places safer by looking at what time of day these things tend to happen, where they happen, and what they have in common. Also, we take your comments, suggestions, and ideas seriously and often make revisions based on them. The Safety Committee is also involved now. It's all part of a process to involve everyone. We all play a part in making E Light the best and the safest electrical contractor.  Participation also means you have to be active. Let us know your thoughts, comments, and questions. Tell us your experiences, what you've learned. That'll be good for everyone. To make it easy for you to participate and share those things, we set up a private discord server. We read these comments, consider them, and make improvements based on them. It's also good to learn from others, find out what went wrong for them so you don't make the same mistakes.

This is why you never see a printed version of our safety policies. Nope, we don't print them. If we did, how would you know you had the latest version?  On the SHEP page of elightinformation.com, we have all the Safety, Health and Environmental Policies (SHEP). There are sections by topic, and each topic is listed on the page. You just have to go to elightinformation.com on your smart phone and select SHEP. Simply click on the topic you're looking for and you'll see the most recent version. So if you have a question or aren't sure about something, you can easily check the policies. You might want to make a suggestion and just want to see what the current policy is.   You're not expected to memorize the SHEP any more than you're supposed to memorize the National Electric Code or the National Electrical Safety Code. You should only have access to them and refer to them regularly to make sure you're doing it right.   Get in the habit of checking the SHEP periodically and please....participate in making us the best.

Thanks, We really appreciate it
